There’s a common misstep taken continually by mankind in the chase for creations instead of the pursuit for God the Creator and His ways. This isn’t just so in the world but also very prevalent in the Body of Christ, those who know God and possess Him as their Father. To forcefully continue in that twisted mindset and condition of heart only ensures malnourishment, blindness, dumbness and deafness towards the Truth and the BEST that God has already prepared, tailor made and have kept ready for you. “But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.” (Matthew 6:33 AMP) Following your own self and your ways of reason isn’t a justifiable path of independence. It’s a camouflaged highway that leads only in the wrong direction of what God has for you. Humble yourself, see the error of your ways and seek FIRST the Lord and His ways with your whole heart. There is never a time when should ever have to feel as though you are alone or destitute of the help, comfort and companionship of The BEST! Even though you can’t see Him physically, you must know that God is with you ALWAYS! He said that He would never leave you nor forsake you and He meant every word. In the midst of your challenges, training, development and shortcomings, you must personally know the Voice of Truth beyond the lying Voice of Doubt. It takes faith to rejoice in the hope of the Holy Spirit so fight the good fight of faith! Possess the precious promise of His presence, peace and prosperity. “Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and He will say, Here I am. If you take away from your midst yokes of oppression [wherever you find them], the finger pointed in scorn [toward the oppressed or the godly], and every form of false, harsh, unjust, and wicked speaking,  And if you pour out that with which you sustain your own life for the hungry and satisfy the need of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in darkness, and your obscurity and gloom become like the noonday.” (Isaiah 58:8-10 AMP) Your Heavenly Father is REAL… Daddy loves you no matter what!!!! Surrender and rest in your love for Him. Sing songs of praise, worship, honor and adoration to the King. Let Him know you believe His words above all else. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with requiring God’s Glory to manifest on your behalf. It’s actually your obligation to open up your own mouth, heart and mind to boldly ask for your desires in His Word and expect to receive them. When you’re empty of self and have developed a healthy appetite for God and His ways, you shall see His glory. Listen to these instructions though: “Therefore He says, Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall shine (make day dawn) upon you and give you light. Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people), Making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil. Therefore do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is.” (Ephesians 5:14-17 AMP) God’s glory is all that He has, all that He is and all that He can do…  it’s His very BEST!!! Have you ever been offended at God? Whether in word or action, have you ever told Him that you won’t believe Him anymore because of painful persecution you had to endure for His Word sake? Have you ever turned off a segment of your relationship with Him because the tests of it was way more than you felt you could take anymore? No matter how grown up and mature we desire to be in Christ, things do happen that may push us down in our walk of faith/faithfulness to God. But thank God for mercy and love! It’s Grace that shows us the Truth of our heart! “ In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection]. We love Him, because He first loved us.” (1 John 4:17-19 AMP) Your gifts, talents and abilities are all needed for the advancement of the Kingdom but you’re only free to flow in them when God has access to yourWHOLE heart. Perfect love casts out all fear, doubt, distrust and terror. Letting God love you usher His perfect love into your heart and life so that you may produce the same. “ Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds andrecognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16 AMP) As children of the LIGHT, it’s out privilege, duty and responsibility to B LIGHT. As God’s glory is revealed to us, in us, for us and conferred on us, we must not damper it by refusing to share it with those around us. God’s glory is given with purpose and was never meant to be hidden. Who cares what others opposing God and you may think?!? Cause God’s opinion to matter more to you than any opposition or hate.
