To be full of ourselves and what we think we want, how we think things should go, which direction we think we should take, etc. apart from GOD’S perfect Wisdom profits absolutely nothing, is unsatisfied vanity and only perpetuates foolish thinking and living. It’s a dangerous place to be in when flesh, pride, ego and feelings are predominantly governing the very attitudes and actions of our lives. To rely on our SELF’s will while dragging God along for the ride is completely different from submitting to His divine authority. We must know that He has only the BEST in mind for us… because He LOVES us!

“Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil.” (Proverbs 3:5-7 AMP)

Wisdom will guide on the path of LIFE even when it doesn’t look/feel right (according to the natural senses). When we DIE to our SELF/PRIDE/EGO, there’s peace, hope, righteousness, prosperity and real LIFE to be experienced walking hand in hand with God’s Wisdom. Fear not, neither be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Stars, keep those idols out of your life, even the one you’ve built with your own efforts within yourself… let it all GO!!! As you empty out your SELF, be ever filled and overflowing with the GLORY of the Lord. Worship is more than a song… it’s a lifestyle of choosing God and His ways ABOVE ALL (even ourselves). I love you all,
