“If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever— The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.” (John 14:14-17 AMP)
Love and obedience go hand-in-hand. By Jesus’ own words, you can’t keep telling God that you LOVE Him while persistently going your own way, doing your own thing when you want, how you want, etc.. Real love commands the response of faithful obedience to accompany it by Grace. Committing to the conscious decision to listen to, obey and trust the Holy Spirit of Truth is the only way to successfully get where God’s taking you. You don’t know which way to go on your own and only the Holy Spirit can rightly protect, develop and lead you on that path. Submit and surrender to the divine authority God has given him and by grace, don’t grieve Him. Your cooperation and immediate obedience by faith shall lead you into All Truth by All Grace… B The BEST!!!
