Have you ever been offended at God? Whether in word or action, have you ever told Him that you won’t believe Him anymore because of painful persecution you had to endure for His Word sake? Have you ever turned off a segment of your relationship with Him because the tests of it was way more than you felt you could take anymore? No matter how grown up and mature we desire to be in Christ, things do happen that may push us down in our walk of faith/faithfulness to God. But thank God for mercy and love! It’s Grace that shows us the Truth of our heart!
“ In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection]. We love Him, because He first loved us.” (1 John 4:17-19 AMP)
Your gifts, talents and abilities are all needed for the advancement of the Kingdom but you’re only free to flow in them when God has access to yourWHOLE heart. Perfect love casts out all fear, doubt, distrust and terror. Letting God love you usher His perfect love into your heart and life so that you may produce the same. God is turning ALL your past shame & disgrace into an extraordinary display of His miraculous GLORY! He has NEVER lied so trust Him… let Him love you!
