“ Hide Your face from my sins and blot out all my guilt and iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right, persevering, and steadfast spirit within me. Cast me not away from Your presence and take not Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit. Then will I teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted and return to You.” Psalm 51:9-13
No matter what you’ve done or what’s happened to you, it’s your responsibility to seek God for clarity and the power to possess a clean heart (by His Standards). Your standard of clean is different from His. Surface dealing and concealing only harbors selfishness, contempt and bitterness (none of which provides any benefit to God). He wants you completely clean and clear so that you may effectively teach those who have fallen too how to get up and return their heart, trust, love and dependence back to Dad.
Ask God to search your heart with no restrictions. If He shows you things, don’t be ignorant to ignore Him and them, but seek His wisdom on how to deal RIGHTeously with those things by His Word of Truth and Grace. Your destiny, promotion and advancement are dependent upon the condition and health of your heart. What God has in store for you is outstanding, extraordinary and exceedingly beyond your HIGHEST imaginations. Protect and keep your greatest asset to look just like Daddy’s no matter what… your HEART!
