“[Looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity], who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work].” (Hebrews 12:2)
There’s no reason to be intimidated, to faint, weaken, loose heart or become despondent towards God’s assignment for you. Clear your conscience and KNOW the Truth that God is the Author, Perfecter and Giver of your faith. He gives you His peace that goes beyond your understanding as you recognize and accept His perfect will. The Joy of the Lord is your strength to yield as He does His incredible and extraordinary works through you (just as He did Jesus).
“Now may the God of Peace strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to B and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to Whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.” (Hebrews 13:20-21)
Grace, peace, strength and clarity of the Truth be to you all in Jesus’ name. The Joy of the Lord is your strength! Embrace Him in love because God loves you!
