Humbling the heart, mind and body to submit to the One that’s really in charge requires the anointing of the Holy Spirit. He helps us place importance on what God deems is important and value on those things He treasures. It’s a process of molding our being to be in harmony with The BEST so that we can be likewise and it positions us to cooperate and yield to God’s GLORY!
“And Jesus called [to Him] the throng with His disciples and said to them, If anyone intends to come after Me, let him deny himself [forget, ignore, disown, and lose sight of himself and his own interests] and take up his cross, and [joining Me as a disciple and siding with My party] follow with Me [continually, cleaving steadfastly to Me].For whoever wants to save his [higher, spiritual, eternal] life, will lose it [the lower, natural, temporal life which is lived only on earth]; and whoever gives up his life [which is lived only on earth] for My sake and the Gospel’s will save it [his higher, spiritual life in the eternal kingdom of God].For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his life [in the eternal kingdom of God]?” (Eat more… Mark 8:34-36 AMP)
His Glory isn’t just for us but for all those we come in contact with! May we declare God’s glory to be manifested in us as it is in Heaven. May we simply do our part by yielding the glory of praise and worship to God in spirit and Truth! May we generously pour our life of obedience and love into the steps He supplies for us to take. He’s worth giving up our life to in order to gain the vibrant & real LIFE He’s prepared in exchange!
