When you really circumcise your heart by Grace of all the wicked overgrowth of selfishness, pride and twisted ways to get to the very core Truth of your existence, you see that nothing and no one even matters but God. To know Him, the state of His heart and His love towards you is the very wealth of a life worth living.
“Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love. For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will [because it pleased Him and was His kind intent]— [So that we might be] to the praise and the commendation of His glorious grace (favor and mercy), which He so freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.” (Ephesians 1:4-6)
Before anything even existed, He had His eyes on you with the favor to love you lavishly even despite the falls, shortcomings and failures you were ever to commit. His unfailing love is all to demonstrate the mighty power and richness of His Grace (unmerited, unearned, undeserved favor). It’s through Christ that He loves you and not of your self!
May you make your Father God and His ways of living the HIGHEST priority above your fickle feelings, limited understanding and selfish ambitions. In this place of committed worship of God with your whole being is the old man made extinct and NEW LIFE in Christ resurrected. The REAL life is found only in letting all the old go and choosing to B just like your Daddy… it’s all by Grace.
